Peace Project – Call for Artists

Peace Project’s 3rd Annual Call for Artists is now open, and artists throughout the world are being invited to make an online submission of their vision of what makes peace before Aug. 31. There’s a nominal charge of $10 but that will be waived if necessary so that all can participate. All proceeds will help fund the Peace Center in Sierra Leone ( see Sandra Coopersmith’s Creativity with a Conscience in Arts).

A traveling exhibit will be mounted and a book published. The traveling exhibition will be unveiled Sept. 22 in Texas and will make stops in Southern California, including at this gallery, before going throughout the US and London.

Alongside The Peace Project exhibit, a collection of originals works called “Making Peace” by Ransome Stanley, (see illustration above) who draws from his African roots as a London-born son of a German mother and Nigerian father, will be shown.
