Crime Blotter – Call the Police

Crime Blotter for June 12th through June 18th.
Vandalism:
On June 12, 2012 at 9:05 am, a victim came to the police department to report her Toyota Camry had been vandalized. The victim said she parked and locked her vehicle in the 3200 block of Raintree Circle on 06/12/12 at 6:00 pm. The next morning she returned at 7:30 am, and discovered unknown suspect(s) had keyed her vehicle.
Commercial Burglary:
On June 13, 2012 at 12:35 pm, officers responded to the 8600 block of Hayden Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she left her office at 12:00 pm and her office was unlocked. She returned at 1:30 pm and discovered her computer and cell phone missing.
Commercial Burglary:
On June 13, 2012 at 1:30 pm, a victim called the police department to report his office had been burglarized. The victim said he left his office unlocked on June 8, 2012 and returned on June 11, 2012. The business is located in the 5700 block of Buckingham Parkway. When he checked his office he discovered his property missing.
Assault:
On June 15, 2012 at 4:00 pm, officers responded to the 5800 block of Green valley Circle regarding a battery investigation. The officers talked to the victim who told them the following; she said the suspect entered the location to cash a check. The victim said they attempted to verify with the account holder if the check was good. The suspect became very angry and through a object at the victim striking her. The suspect then fled the location.
Stolen Vehicle:
On June 14, 2012 at 4:58 pm, officers responded to the 6000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding a stolen car investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she parked and locked her 2002 Toyota at 2:00 pm and when she returned at 3:30 pm discovered her vehicle missing.
Residential Burglary:
On June 17, 2012 at 9:10 pm, officers responded to the 4400 block of Elenda Street regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she left her residence locked and secured at 2:00 pm. When she returned at 9:00 pm she discovered her home was ransacked and her property missing.
