The Friends of the Library invite you to join us on Saturday, March 24 for our annual Edible Book Festival. You are welcome to enter an “edible book”, which can be as simple as a depiction of a scene in some book, or a play on words of the title. No pre-registration is necessary and participating in the festival is free. Just bring your entry to the Culver City Julian Dixon library on Saturday, March 24 between 1:00 and 1:30 pm. We will display all the edible books for the public to enjoy between 1:30 and 2:30 pm. All visitors can vote for the prestigious People’s Choice Award, and awards in other categories will be determined by our panel of illustrious judges. It’s a fun way to celebrate literature and the library. Come on by, even if you don’t choose to enter a masterpiece in the festival! Awards will be presented at 2:30 pm. Refreshments will be served.
