Crime Blotter – Road Rage

Crime Blotter for September 20th through 26.
Commercial Burglary:
On Sept. 20 at 8:30 am, officers responded to the 4100 block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who told them the following; the business was locked and secured on September 19th at 8:15 pm and she returned at 8:35 am the next morning where she discovered the office doors had been forced opened. She then discovered that part of her inventory was missing.
Assault:
On September 21, 2011 at 7:20 pm, a victim came to the police department to report that he was a victim of an assault. The victim said he was riding his motorcycle near the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Hughes Ave. and was cut off by another driver almost causing him to crash. He and the other driver exchanged a few words and both of them pulled to the curb. The suspect then approached the victim struck the victim with a closed fist.
Stolen Car:
On September 23, 2011 at 2:00 pm, officers responded to the 6600 block of Green Valley Circle regarding a stolen car investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who told them the following; he said his brother had left his car with him and it was parked and locked on September 19th at 6:00 pm. On the 23rd he noticed the car was missing and no one had permission to take it. The car was a 1995 white Acura.
Car Burglary:
On September 23, 2011 at 2:05 pm, a victim came to the police department to report her 2009 Toyota was burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the 9800 block of Jefferson Boulevard at 1:30 pm. When she returned at 1:50 pm she discovered her car’s front passenger window was smashed out and her property missing.
Residential Burglary:
On September 24, 2011 at 8:30 am, officers responded to the 11500 block of Washington Boulevard regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he said he placed some of his property in his garage and locked it on September 23rd at 10:00 pm. He returned the next day at 8:00 am and discovered the padlock on the garage door was missing. He looked in the garage and discovered his property missing.
