As part of the Re-Elect Zeidman to the Culver City School Board campaign, there will be a bowling party that will double as a small fundraiser. Gardena Bowl (it’s really not that far) is hosting the event. (Incidentally, there are no bowling centers in Culver City, as Mar Vista Lanes is in Los Angeles, and Jefferson Bowl closed two decades ago, or Zeidman certainly would have picked a CC location.) Gardena Bowl has hosted the past two Culver City High School Booster Club Bowling fundraisers with great success. Gardena Bowl is a small, intimate, center with sixteen lanes, a lounge, about a half dozen billiards tables, and a small video arcade, plus ample parking.
As part of the reelection fundraiser, you can enjoy two hours of bowling (from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm), rental shoes, and a light supper with tacos al carbon from Paulina’s catering. They’ll turn the lights down, turn up the volume a wee bit on the music, and have a fun evening of “Cosmic Bowling.” The suggested donation for bowling, shoes, music and food is $30.00/person. Get out there and raise some fun.
