Zounds ! The Crime Blotter Strikes Again!

Crime Blotter for the week of July 26th through Aug 2nd.
Stolen Car:
On July 27, 2011 at 3:00 am, officers responded to the 5600 block of Corryne Place regarding a stolen truck investigation. The officers met the victim who told them the following; he said one of his employees locked and secured his truck at 2:00 am and at 3:00 am the truck was missing. The victim said no one had permission to take the truck.
Commercial Burglary:
On July 28, 2011 at 8:56 am, officers responded to the 3500 block of Schaefer Street regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who told them the following; he left the business at 3:00 pm on July 27th and the business was secured. He returned the next day and discovered an open window and unknown suspect(s) had removed some property.
Forgery:
On July 28, 2011 at 11:00 am, a victim called the police department to report that he was a victim of a forgery. The victim said he received a call from a business regarding a personal check that 2 female suspect(s) were attempting to cash. The victim told the business that he did not write a check to 2 females. The suspect(s) then fled the business after they could not cash the check. The victim checked his check book and discovered he was missing several checks.
Robbery:
On July 29, 2011 at 6:30 pm, officers responded to the 4000 block of Centinela Avenue regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim and he told them the following; he was working as a loss prevention agent and observed a suspect place a DVD player in his back pack and exit the location without paying for the item. The victim attempted to detain the suspect and the suspect punched the victim and fled the location.
Vandalism:
On July 31, 2011 at 5:40 pm, a victim called the police department to report she was a victim of vandalism. She said unknown suspect(s) had sprayed painted her garage door located in the 5000 block of Pickford Way. The victim said this occurred between 12:05 am and 3:00 pm.
Commercial Burglary:
On July 31, 2011 at 7:00 pm, officers responded to the 5700 block of Buckingham Parkway regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who told them the following; he said had received a call from the alarm company reporting alarm activation. He then checked the security cameras and discovered suspect(s) had cut a hole in the doors and entered the location. The suspect(s) then removed merchandize and fled the location.
