Yes, there is a new traffic signal on Washington Blvd. As previously approved by the City Council and as part of a neighborhood traffic management plan, a new traffic signal has been installed at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and McLaughlin Avenue. The Public Works Department anticipates activating the signal before the end of the month. So If you were thinking about stopping off at Samosa House for one of those fantastic saffron ice cream bars, the timing is great. But if you are just floating up the street on auto-pilot, it’s news. Green means go, red means hit the brakes, just the same as all the other traffic signals we have.
