On April 19, 2026, the Culver City Fire Department proudly welcomed the next generation of leaders to our annual CCFD Girls Camp. Designed for young adults ages 14–18, this hands-on program introduces participants to careers in public safety through real-world firefighting and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) experiences.
Over two action-packed days, campers geared up in full PPE, climbed ladders, advanced hose lines, and built critical teamwork skills. With guidance from fire department personnel across multiple agencies, participants were challenged in a safe, supportive environment focused on building confidence, resilience, and leadership.
The camp takes place annually, and is a unique offering for the community from the fire department.
