The Culver City Sister City Committee board and membership welcomes high school students and chaperones from Iksan South Korea for a Community Welcome Potluck on Sunday the 22nd at 4:00PM. Using the covered shelter at Carlson Park as the base for fun, the community is invited to meet the visitors and bring either appetizers, a side, salad, fruit or entrée to enhance the meal. Lawn chairs and or blankets encouraged.
Iksan students will be living and learning in Culver City July 22 through July 31. Activities for students and host families include in-depth touring of our city including many important venues and a few meals in our restaurants. Host families look forward to unscheduled time to entertain their visitors and allow the students and host students to interact and form lifelong friendships.
