What’s an ideal Culver City Saturday? Ride your bike to the wetlands, and enjoy a tour of the Ballona Reserve.
Join Culver City’s Walk ‘n Rollers to explore the beauty of nature in the Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve, and learn more about our native plants and wildlife.
The creek and wetlands are specifically recognized as an important birding area by the Audubon Society. With the wet winter behind us, migrating species are stopping in on their travels. It’s a great time of year to observe wildlife in the wetlands.
Biking is the ideal way to get there! Bike Culver City will be hosting a ‘feeder ride’ to the event that will meet at Culver City Hall at 8:45 am. Remeber, helmets are mandatory.
For the nature walk – Meet at Ballona Wetlands Area A (on Fiji Way across from Whisky Red’s in Marina del Rey) The event is planned to last from 10 to Noon.
With two organizations hosting, it’s best to rsvp to both.
