Kallipoliti on Intersectional Environmental Politics – May 14

The Cal Poly LA Metro Program returns to Helms on Thursday, May 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm with a special evening featuring architect, engineer, and scholar Lydia Kallipoliti, whose work explores the intersection of architecture, ecology, technology, and environmental politics.

Known for her research into closed-loop systems and the future of ecological design, Kallipoliti brings a deeply interdisciplinary perspective to the evolving role of architecture in shaping more sustainable futures. Her work spans teaching, research, exhibitions, and publications that challenge how we think about the relationship between the built environment and the natural world.

Join us at the Helms Design Center for a reception, lecture, discussion, and book signing with one of today’s leading voices in contemporary architectural discourse.
