At the Enviro-fest visit the Tree/Plant distribution area to show your Culver City ID and ticket or email verification. Attendees must be present to claim their tree or plant by 11 AM or your ticket will be forfeited, and tree or plant will be re-issued to Walk-ups.
Want to take home some compost? This is a self-haul event so bring a shovel. Residents are responsible for shoveling and bagging their own compost in garbage bags, reusable containers, pick-up bed, or trailer. Compost is ready to go but recommended to be mixed with topsoil or another gardening fill. For best growing results, a 60/40 split (60% topsoil and 40% compost) is recommended.
The e-waste collection and paper-shredding event with Homeboy Industries. Dispose of your old electronics in a socially and ecologically responsible way. Drive up, drop off and drive away. Staff can assist to remove from car. All electronics will be accepted except for refrigerators, alkaline batteries, thermostats, light bulbs and air conditioners.
Paper shredding is in compliance with HIPAA standards. The maximum paper shredding allowed will be six boxes with a maximum of the following dimensions: 18″ x 12″ x 10″.
Note: Rain will cancel shredding event only.
There is a drive-through Household Hazardous Waste Collection! The following materials will be accepted at this event: paint (latex, oil based), household batteries (alkaline, li-ion), aerosol cans, fertilizers, pesticides, fluorescent light bulbs, motor oil, small propane tanks, and household cleaners. Please note the limit of HHW from each attendee is three five-gallon containers of liquids or 125 lbs of solids.
