The Culver City Unified School District welcomes Dr. Kara Heinrich as the new Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services. Dr Heinrich joins Culver City from the Torrance Unified School District where she served as Senior Director of Elementary Schools, with prior experience as the Director of Curriculum TK-12. She has a history as a high school, middle school, and elementary school principal, and of course a classroom teacher in different school districts.
Her hiring was Board approved on August 26, 2025 with contract approval on September 9. We look forward to her leadership in the education of our students.
