Dear Editor,
Thanks so much for sharing community concerns around Ting Internet. We appreciate the feedback and don’t take it lightly and wanted to take a moment to respond.
We wanted to clarify why Ting Internet does not offer the same pricing tiers in all of our service areas, including Culver City.
At Ting, our goal is to bring reliable, fast, fiber internet to as many communities as possible. However, the decision to make certain plans available in some towns but not in others depends on a combination of factors that vary by market.
Offering a single flagship plan in a given area streamlines installation, customer support, and network management. This focus can help keep overall costs lower for everyone and ensures a consistent, high-quality experience.
While we understand that not every household requires gigabit speeds, our long-term vision is to help communities move beyond outdated infrastructure and embrace modern connectivity. We appreciate that affordability is critical, and we continually evaluate how best to serve the diverse needs of our residents. We are proud that we have not increased our base service price in 10 years and our pricing structure allows us to remain competitive and continue to provide the same value instead of steadily increasing prices over time.
We encourage residents with questions or concerns about plan availability to reach out to our team directly at [email protected]. We are always glad to provide more context as our standard is being open, honest and fair!
Thank you for sharing your readers perspectives and advocating for the community’s interests
