Summer is time for theater in the park, and the Culver City Public Theater returns to Carlson Park (at the corner of Braddock and Motor) on July 12, 2025 with a new adaptation of the classic children’s literature “The Wind in the Willows” by Kenneth Grahame.
First published in 1908, this classic children’s story is one that speaks to all ages. J. Thaddeus Toad Esq. has always gotten his way and had everything he wanted, but when he is accused of stealing a dazzling red motorcar, his best friends Ratty, Mole, and Badger must do all they can to rescue the wrongly imprisoned Toad and change his selfish ways before destruction befalls his ancestral home Toad Hall.
“Wind and the Willows” blends comedy, action, adventure and the craziest courtroom trial you have ever seen.
Opening on Saturday, July 12, 2025, noon to 1:30 pm, and playing every Saturday until the July 26.
Free as always, bring a blanket or a beach chair, and come and enjoy the show.
