In celebration of the new year, the Department of Beaches and Harbors will host the Marina del Rey New Year’s Eve Fireworks and Glow Party on December 31, 7 p.m. – 12 a.m., at Burton Chace Park.
Enjoy activities for the whole family such as Live Entertainment, Gourmet Food Trucks, Face Painting, Music Curated by DJ O.I.A.M., Photo Booth Fun and more!
FIREWORKS: There will be a 10-minute fireworks show at 8:59 p.m. and again at 11:59 p.m. The fireworks will be shot from the south jetty in Marina del Rey.
VIEWING LOCATIONS: Watch the spectacular fireworks displays from Burton Chace Park, Fisherman’s Village, or the many waterfront restaurants in the Marina!
STREET & DRIVEWAY CLOSURES: California Highway Patrol will enforce the following closures:
7:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.: No westbound traffic on Mindanao Way (west of Admiralty Way), including no left turns from Admiralty (northbound)
8:30 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.: No left turn from Fiji Way (eastbound) onto Admiralty Way (northbound)
9-10 p.m. and 12-1 a.m.: Waterside Shopping Center’s NORTH driveway near Ralphs (on eastbound Mindanao Way) will be temporarily closed up to one hour to alleviate traffic in the area. All other Waterside driveways will not be closed, but there may be exit delays due to temporary gridlock.
