Make your way to Downtown Culver City this Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024 for the biggest event of the year! Our traditional Tree Lighting Ceremony has been enjoyed by thousands of families for over 20 years. Expect lots of fun, laughter, and memories as Hip & Historic Downtown Culver City welcomes its residents and neighbors to the Holiday Tree Lighting Sled-tacular.
Ushering in the 2024 Holiday Season, the festivities begin with the Sled-tacular – 50 TONS of fresh snow for sledding and snow play, carnival games, and sweet treats. The beloved Tree Lighting Ceremony starts at 6pm, a 30-minute show featuring 250 local students and a countdown led by the Mayor and special guests to light the 25-foot Tree on Town Plaza. And, of course, there’s a special visit from SANTA CLAUS in his first appearance of the season in Culver City, meeting all children in front of the gorgeous and historic Culver Studios mansion!
For friends and neighbors at home and across the country, the Tree Lighting Ceremony will also be live streamed at 6pm PT with the recording available online throughout the season (https://DowntownCulverCity.com).
The event is FREE to the public.
