A jazzy night of “surround sound “ dance with BrockusRED will be happening at the Vets Memorial Building on Oct. 27, 2024. Described as a salon event meets cabaret meets dinner club vibe; free snacks on the tables! The two shows at 5:00 and 7:00 pm will each be an hour long.
BrockusRED is an LA based company that produces the work of the artistic director Deborah Brockus, and has performed both nationally and internationally in Europe, South Korea and across the USA.
Themes in our dances explore the human condition in relationship to the natural work, with a fascination on interwoven ideas and patterns in nature and the complexities of the human mind and emotions. Using many styles of dance, Brockus’ work is characterized by energy, tension and relationships that fill the space.
This performance is made possible in part by the City of Culver City and its Cultural Affairs Commission, with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment. Additional funding from LA County‘s Creative Recovery LA Initiative.
Free for Culver City residents (please bring ID) and $15 for all others.
