The Culver City Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Ed Wolkowitz as the interim Chair and CEO of the organization, following the departure of Jesse Nuñez. Wolkowitz, a “long-time” board member of the Chamber, is also a former elected official who served on the city council in 1994 to 2002, and held the office of Mayor in 1996 and 2002.
Nunez, who was hired to lead the Chamber in November of 2022, replaced Colin Diaz, who held the post from 2018 until 2022.
Wolkowitz has been a bankruptcy attorney for more than 40 years, and is listed as a partner with the law firm LNBY&G. His spouse, Marla, is currently on the board of the Culver City Sister City Committee.
