“Get the Funk Out” Fundraiser Rocks Culver City

“Get the Funk Out” saw a Saturday night filled with music, fun and best of all, funds raised for the good causes.  The Exchange Club of Culver City produced the event on February 24, 2024 at a soundstage on Washington Boulevard in support of the PTA’s Backpacks for Kids Program. The sold out event saw a crowd of 200 enjoying food, drinks, and lots of great music. Both bands “Jamie and the Gravy Train,” and “Absoulute” played and sang their hearts out until midnight, keeping the dance floor busy.

The Exchange Club of Culver City, who also produce the Culver City Car Show, the Fireworks show and other fundraisers support a number of local causes; scholarships for graduating seniors at Culver City High School, the Culver Palms YMCA After-School program, the Sandy Segal Health Center and others.
