Culver City Veterans Memorial Park will present the Veteran’s Day Memorial ‘Field of Valor’ from Nov. 9 through the 15 with flags on display to commemorate veterans who have passed. To sponsor a flag, contact the Exchange Club at culvertribute.org
Central to the this tribute will be the Veterans Day on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Noon at the Veterans Auditorium, Culver Blvd & Overland Ave. Join us for a live ceremony honoring the service and sacrifice of American Service members and First Responders.
The net proceeds from the event are donated to “New Directions for Veterans,” an organization that helps veterans in many ways including getting them housed. Here is a list of the things they do: Since 1992, New Directions for Veterans (NDVets) has provided comprehensive services to thousands of veterans in Los Angeles County. NDVets offers a wide array of services including substance abuse treatment, counseling, remedial education, job training and placement, as well as parenting and money management classes.
