The Conquer The Overlook 5K & 282 Climb is coming back to the historic Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook in Culver City. Offered by Mercury Events, (the same folks who bring you the popular Screenland 5K costumed run) this is a unique challenge. Run, climb, and party while benefiting the Aztlan Athletics Foundation.
There are multiple options to sign up for; race and climb, race, climb and party, and party only; even if you are not a runner, enjoying tacos and beer will still bring in the funds to support Aztlan Athletics. Enjoy the view of the beautiful cities of Culver City, Century City and Downtown Los Angeles. Enjoy the sunset during this RARE evening running event, and the spectacular view of Los Angeles at the finish line. After you catch your breath, dance under the stars, and enjoy a beer and tacos after the race.
Water stations will be available on the course and at the finish. Race will include the 282 stair climb as part of the 5K Run/Walk Course. 5K Stair Climb will start at the upper parking lot of the Baldwin Hill Scenic Overlook (look out for green start balloon arch) and will finish at the top of the 282 stair climb.
