Higher Ground for Humanity is partnering with the Boys & Girls Club Culver City to host a free family friendly and community driven summer event with good food, music, art and so much more. Join the festivities on July 15th at 11 am for our first annual Flavors of Origin Food Festival. This year’s theme is Wakanda honoring the warrior in you!
The goal is to provide knowledge and skills to the community in order to support a more balanced and full life. Through your tickets and donations the organizers hope to sponsor at least 60 kids to attend the festival and provide food literacy education in a fun, engaging and accessible way. Experience an event like none other with family and friends and help support your community by sponsoring a child today.

Cooking Demonstrations – Our kid’s kitchen teaches ways to make cooking fun for the whole family, by providing advice on how to make cooking a creative and fun experience for youth.
For more, we’re also offering a chef’s tasting menu curated by Chef Kyndra, seen on the Food Network show CHOPPED, owner of Swift LA- a sustainable food cafe, for purchase. This will help us reach our goals and here’s how it works.
