Sponsored by the Black/African-American Parent Affinity Group and the Black Students Union, graduating seniors had the chance to celebrate their heritage at Culver City High School’s first Kente Graduation Celebration. The event, held at Robert Frost Auditorium, marked a right of passage for students and families with African ancestry and culture. The Kente stole presented to each graduate is a symbol of achievement, unity and pride.
