In the early morning hours of December 13, 2021, Culver City Police Officers responded to two separate armed street robberies that occurred in the Hayden Tract. Both victims were robbed at gunpoint whereby the suspects pointed a rifle at them and ordered them to hand over their belongings.
With the assistance of outside law enforcement agencies, Culver City Police Detectives were able to identify the two suspects involved in the robberies. The two 16-year-old suspects were also involved in a burglary in San Bernardino County, a carjacking in Manhattan Beach, and an attempt carjacking in Inglewood.
Both suspects have been arrested and the case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration.
