One Fatality in Fox Hills Fire

On December 15, 2020 at 8:30 am, both Culver City Fire and Police Departments responded to a structure fire on the 5900 block of Canterbury Dr. in the Fox Hills neighborhood of Culver City. Heavy smoke and fire was coming from a condo unit. According to a statement from the CCFD, the firefighters performed an aggressive fire attack, and were able to rescue a person, who later succumbed to injuries.

The swift response and strong tactics allowed the firefighters to prevent the spread to any of the attached condominiums. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

  1. This is my complex. The firefighters did an incredible job. The flames and smoke were so bad – I can’t believe that they were able to contain most of the damage to just one unit. Thank you so much for all your help.
