Culver City council member Daniel Lee announced his run for California State Senate with an online launch scheduled for Friday, Dec. 18 at 7 pm. Lee, who will begin his second term with the Culver City City Council this evening, December 14, 2020, is known as an educated and passionate activist with many local supporters.
The seat for the 30th District is open after Holly J. Mitchell’s winning her contest against Herb Wesson for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. Mitchell served as State Senator for 8 years.
District 30 encompasses Culver City, Ladera Heights, and Westmont and the Crenshaw, Downtown, and Florence neighborhoods of Los Angeles.
The event will be on Facebook on Friday at 6:30 pm PST – 8 pm PST. All are welcome.
Lee has yet to respond to requests for comment.
