AVPA Blurred Vision Theatre Company’s Fall Play “She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms” will premiere tonight online. She Kills Monsters is a drama-comedy play by Qui Nguyen that debuted in 2011. It tells the story of Agnes Evans, a woman who loses her parents and little sister Tilly in a car accident. Having been very distant from her sister while she was alive, Agnes embarks in an adventure to get to know her sister better by playing a Dungeons & Dragons module that Tilly had written, and discovers things she’d never imagined. The action takes place in reality and in the imaginary game world.
There are two casts for the show, they will present on alternate performances.
Prior to the play, there will be an art show from the AVPA art students –
November 5-7, 12-14 – Art Show @ 6:30pm, Curtain @ 7pm
November 8 and 15 – Art Show @ 1:30pm, Curtain at 2pm
