Exchange Club Showcases ‘Field of Honor’ for Veterans Day

In a striking visual tribute to Veteran’s Day, the Culver City Exchange Club, along with the City of Culver City and the Culver City Chamber of Commerce has created a display of American flags surrounding the Veterans Memorial Building at the corner of Culver and Overland, to honor service members from all branches. The display also raises funds for New Directions for Veterans, a non-profit organizations that supports veterans in need.

The yellow ribbons on the flags signify the sponsoring individual or community group that donated to support the event, and all profits from the display are to benefit New Directions for Veterans.

The Honorary Co-Chairs for the event are all local veterans  who served in the various branches of the military; Jim Clarke, United States Coast Guard; Earl Eskridge, United States Navy; Daniel Lee, United States Air Force and Air National Guard, Ken Owens, United States Army;  and Marcus Tiggs, United States Army.
