After two community workshops to gather ideas for the use of the space at 10858 Culver Boulevard, the Wende Museum will be combining a Family Day with the presentation of the proposal, reflecting the community’s input.
With several dozen people in attendance at the March and April meetings, ideas were put forth that included everything from rehearsal space to artist-in-residence housing. Hours of discussion reflected the need for shared space and community connection. The museum’s plan will be shared with the community during Family Day at the Wende, while Culver City kids are invited to enjoy art-making activities led by Wende Museum staff.
