Flute virtuoso Ellen Burr and bassist Jeff Schwartz continue their third Thursday (aka “Thursday”) residency at the Industry Cafe. Each month they invite a different group of musical collaborators for an evening of jazz, improvisation, and experimentation.
For March they are joined by three of Long Beach’s busiest freelancers: guitarist Scott Heustis, keyboardist Scott Dibble, and drummer Keith Larsen, for two sets of spiritual jazz, funk, and free improvisation.
Admission is free, but donations are encouraged and CDs and LPs by the artists will be for sale.
