She competed in the non-classical vocal category, which typically has over 600 teens auditioning. Claire was notified that she has made to the Master Class Semi-Finals of 15 kids! From that class, two grand finalists will emerge and one honorary mention. Then the two grand finalists battle it out on the stage of the Dorothy Chandler. We’ll keep you posted on performance dates.
Driving by the big construction project at our Expo Line station at Washington & National has been interesting to watch (at best) and often troublesome, traffic-wise. But look at what’s going to end up being there: 200,000 square feet of office area, a 148-room hotel, a 200-unit residential complex, and a retail and restaurant/commercial area of around 50,000 square feet! There’ll be subterranean parking, plus open space that includes a transit plaza, outdoor dining areas and a 1/3 acre public open space area. New street trees, landscaping and street furniture will be installed on Washington, National and Venice Blvds. Can this really be East Culver City?
