The Culver City Democratic Club Holiday Celebration and Silent Auction is coming up Wednesday, Dec. 11! Please come to the Veterans’ Memorial Building, Rotunda Room, with your family and friends for this always festive occasion. They will start serving refreshments at 6:45PM. This year, they have invited as a special guest speaker, Sheila J. Kuehl, former California state Senator who is now running for Los Angeles County Supervisor (3rd District). Sheila will speak about her accomplishments as a state legislator, as a tireless advocate for universal health care, women’s and LGBT rights, and the environment, and her vision for L.A. County. There will be a Q&A afterwards.
During the celebration, there will be a Silent Auction, featuring many fabulous items and gift certificates donated by CCDC members, friends and local businesses. There will also be a wonderful selection of Democratic/Obama/Hillary buttons for sale. All proceeds will go to the club.
