Registration Deadline – Ya Gotta Vote (Next Election Dec. 3)

Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan reminds constituents in Assembly District 54 that the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming major election is Monday, Nov. 18. The Assembly District 54 Special Primary Election takes place on Dec. 3, 2013.

Assembly District 54 includes portions or all of Baldwin Hills, Century City, Crenshaw, Culver City, Inglewood, Jefferson Park, Ladera Heights, Leimert Park, Los Angeles, Mar Vista, Mid City, View Park-Windsor Hills, West Los Angeles and Westwood.

There are several options to register to vote:

• Apply online at www.lavote.net.

• Apply in person at the RR/CC’s Norwalk office: 12400 Imperial Highway.

• Apply in person at public libraries, Department of Motor Vehicles offices, U.S. post offices and most government buildings where paper voter registration applications are available.

L.A. County residents who registered to vote can check their status online.
