I am voting for Claudia Vizcarra for Culver City School Board. Claudia has over ten years of experience in education policy. She worked for many years for UCLA’s renowned Institute for Democracy, Education and Access, where she partnered with parents, students and schools on improved learning conditions in schools. She is familiar with educational innovations and best practices and will share this expertise with our Culver City schools. In her current job as Chief of Staff to Los Angeles Unified School District Board member, Steve Zimmer, Claudia works daily with parents, community organizations, and school district staff directly on educational policies that support all students’ growth.
Claudia has a reasoned, research-based approach that will greatly benefit our students and our schools. I am a parent and am deeply committed to a strong educational system for my child and for all children. I believe Claudia will make many important contributions as a member of our School Board.
