Please join 54th District Representative Holly Mitchell at the Free Women’s Health and Breast Cancer Screening Event.
“I would like to personally invite you to attend a local health fair promoting women’s health. Experienced doctors who specialize in oncology will hold a workshop focused on cancers that disproportionately affect minority women,” Mitchell emphasized.
The California Oncology Research Institute (CORI) and Mobile Mammography, Inc. will provide free and subsidized mammograms. All women, with or without health insurance, are encouraged to attend. Appointments for mammograms are highly encouraged, however, walk-ins will be accepted.
Other local health organizations will provide information on important issues concerning women’s health, tips on living a healthy life and a free ZUMBA class. I will be available for questions or comments regarding state legislative issues.
