Mayme Clayton Library and Museum to Present ‘Happy Feet’ at Black Talkies

Join MCLM for Fancy Feet: An Afternoon of Jazz Dance on Film – a short film program distinctly designed for our monthly film series by historian and archivist, Mark Cantor. The program features the Lindy Hoppers from the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem, Bill “Bojangles” Robinson, The Nicholas Brothers, The Four Step Brothers, and many, many more. The program will consist of many short films and clips from the 30’s and 40’s. After the films we’ll have a discussion and a Q&A with our guest expert, Mark Cantor. We hope to see you at the start of our exciting 2013 Black Talkies on Parade film series!
