The Academy of Visual and Performing Arts and Center Theatre Group will present A Raisin in the Sun: Visual Theater Installations!
Inspired by Lorraine Hansberry’s play, “A Raisin in the Sun,” the installation art pieces will be displayed on the Culver City High School campus. Four groups of AVPA artists created art installations based on their interpretation of the text within a play with Janne Larsen, a professional installation/set design artist from Center Theatre Group.
Be sure to attend the opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, December 19, in the multi-purpose room in the CCHS Library at 4401 Elenda Street.
it was a wonderful installation, and I hear at least part of it will be moved to the Kirk Douglas Theater when the play is running! 🙂
