Magnolia Science Charter Announces Honor Roll

better than a medal; something you really need

Palms/Culver City-based charter middle school Magnolia Science Academy 6 announced that 55 students received academic honors for the first semester of the school year, including six students with perfect 4.0 GPAs. The six students who achieved both Academic Excellence and High Honor Roll honors were Alexis Atianzar, Grace Campbell, Gillian Cornwall, Kaeleigh Cornwall, Kai McNamee, and Cole Thomas.

These students received a certificate of Academic Excellence and a USB flash drive as awards at a school assembly.
Magnolia Science Academy 6 is a free, charter middle school servicing 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in the greater Culver City and Palms communities. The school is located at 3754 Dunn Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90034 and emphasizes a rigorous, academic, college preparation-based curriculum, and prioritizes academics, leadership, good character, proper nutrition, small class size, quality teaching instruction, mandatory student uniforms, and cultural and environmental awareness. Its programs include academic after school programs, book fairs, role model guest speakers of the month, academic field trips, recycling programs, teacher and staff appreciation events, healthy nutritional food offerings,
disaster planning, cultural festivals and other ideals taught to prepare middle school students for four
year universities and develop high character.
