As most of you know, next Sunday is “Super Bowl Sunday.” What you may not know is that every year the membership of Historic AMVETS Post II volunteers to bring hospitalized military veterans to the Post on SBS to enjoy the big game, eat a lot of great food, socialize and generally spend a few hours relaxing outside of the drab confines of the West Los Angeles VA Hospital.
If you would like to help USVAA out by assisting the members of AMVETS Post II put some Super Bowl smiles on faces and have a great time rooting for your team in a very friendly atmosphere, get in touch with Keith Jeffreys at 310 559 2116. Volunteers should rsvp by Friday so the post can make sure to have enough food and beverages for you too. On Sunday , you can come to 10858 Culver Blvd. and enjoy the game and the company.
