Transition Culver City presents “Sense of Place” tonight , Jan. 27 at the Culver Palms Methodist Church at 4464 Sepulveda Blvd. Sustainable landscapes begin to happen when you combine local with global needs. In order for that melding to take place, you must have a sense of where you are, i.e. you must have a ‘sense of place’. This presentation explores how the intersection of geography, climate, ecology, history and culture combine to give Culver City a unique ‘sense of place’, one that should be recognized and honored when planning the home landscape. Mayita Dinos, award winning garden designer presenting. www.mayitadinos.com Free, but donations are welcome!
