The Studio at the Village Well is a boutique gallery where artists can share selected works, using the space to open up abstractions, visions and dreams. Amy Tangerine’s new show, “She Dreams in Color,” is now on display, an invitation to see the world with a little more wonder.
Tangerine offers “This body of work is a celebration of color and connection. With a playful, optimistic approach, I combine mixed media, collage and abstract acrylic paint techniques. Every piece is a reminder to embrace the unexpected. I explore the idea that every person has the ability to dream big and make their unique mark in the world.”
Tangerine is the author of ‘Craft a Life You Love,’ and advocates for her readers to give themselves the gift of art through a playful and spontaneous practice.
Of her current exhibit, Tangerine said, “Each piece is built in layers. Evolving organically over time, these pieces embrace movement, spontaneity, and the inherent beauty of imperfection. The process reflects how our experiences, choices, and moments of courage shape who we are.”
The bright palette and gentle shapes of the abstractions and patterns on display evoke a sense of fun.
“My hope is that these paintings inspire curiosity, joy, and the confidence to create without fear. Let your own creative spirit shine through. Whether through art, kindness, or the little things we do each day, we all leave a unique mark. And that is something worth celebrating.”
