Listening to the voices and seeing the faces; the real people impacted by federal policy choices is what can take the issue outside of headlines and reports.
“Hear Our Story,” a gathering co-sponsored by L.A. Voice, and the Culver City Presbyterian Church will host an afternoon to listen to residents who have been personally harmed on January 25, 2026 at 2 pm.
A teach-in and fundraiser, the event will focus on gathering community in response to the tragic loss of life and freedom being inflicted on people throughout the country.
Culver City Mayor Freddy Puza offered “I’m partnering with L.A. Voice and Culver City Presbyterian Church. This is about standing with our immigrant families and neighbors impacted by recent ICE raids. We’re showing up with education, radical solidarity, and tangible support.”
