According to Public Health officials, it’s important to wear a mask right now, especially a well-fitted, high-filtration mask for the best protection. N95, KN95, and KF94 masks filter airborne particles. They also keep you from giving COVID-19 to others by blocking the droplets you breathe or cough out. Well-fitted, high-filtration masks are especially important to use when COVID-19 community levels are high and for those at high risk. In addition to masks filtering out airborne particles to help reduce COVID-19 transmission, they also help reduce transmission of other viruses like flu and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).
