Reports of an assault at the Westfield/Fox Hills Mall On Sept. 2, 2026 Culver City Police have drawn widespread concern through the community, and police have located and arrested four suspects in the City of Los Angeles following an extensive investigation into the incident.
The suspects arrested are two juveniles, [who cannot be identified because of their ages,] Zahier Frazier, 18, a resident of Panorama City, and Keira Wilis, 24, a resident of Los Angeles.
All four suspects have been booked on suspicion of robbery, pending potential additional charges.
The arrests stem from an incident on Monday, August 31, at a retail location at 6000 Sepulveda Boulevard in which a group of suspects assaulted a male victim, leaving him with serious injuries. During the incident, the victim’s girlfriend was robbed of her jewelry and sustained minor injuries. Two children were also knocked from their stroller during the robbery.
Immediately following the incident, responding officers worked to identify and locate the suspects involved. Detectives conducted an extensive review of surveillance footage, which provided critical evidence and investigative leads that helped advance the investigation. Those leads, combined with additional investigative work, ultimately led detectives to the City of Los Angeles today, where the four suspects were located and arrested.
From the initial response and rapid collection of video evidence to the investigative work that followed, these arrests demonstrate how technology, strong investigative work, and coordination between security team members, patrol officers, and detectives can help quickly identify and apprehend those suspected of committing violent crimes in our community.
The investigation remains active as detectives work to identify and locate any additional suspects who may have been involved.
Anyone with additional information related to this case is asked to immediately contact Investigations Lieutenant Ryan Thompson at (310) 253-6302 or email ryan.thompson@culvercity.org.
