While meditation is a timeless practice, refreshing the Meditation Garden can be very timely; on Saturday August 8, 2026 from 3 to 4:30 at the Culver City Julian Dixon Library, the Culver City Sister City Committee will dedicate a new Water Wheel, handcrafted in Kaizuka, to open a new era for the garden.
Student guests from Kaizuka will be on hand for the occasion, and it will be one if their final events before returning to Japan.
