City Council to Consider Sites for Kiosks

The City Council will consider the proposed siting plan for an interactive digital kiosk program at its meeting on March 9, 2026. You can review the digital kiosk map on the City’s website.

The project includes the installation of 15 kiosks throughout the community that will provide information on meetings, events, transportation services, local business directories, tourism wayfinding, emergency services and commercial advertising among other things.

The City Council approved the program and partnership with Ike Smart City in July 2025.

The City hosted a community discussion in October 2025 regarding potential siting locations for the digital kiosk program. The objective of the meeting was to review preferred and alternate locations for the Phase I deployment, which includes 15 kiosks, as proposed by Ike.

On March 9th, the City Council will consider the proposed siting plan as proposed by Ike Smart City and reviewed by the City Council’s Ad Hoc Digital Signage Subcommittee.

The plan features 15 proposed Phase I preferred sites, as well as 14 potential alternate and/or future Phase II sites, if the City Council votes to proceed with that option.
