The Wende Museum is offering the entire cosmos; or at least, art that reflects it. This Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025 at 2 pm, there will be an exploration artistic Cold War visions of the cosmos.
“We will examine everything from popular Space Race imagery in the East and West to Afrofuturism, science fiction, and even art said to be guided by extraterrestrial intelligence. This program also serves as an early preview of our 2026 exhibition Competing Cosmologies.”
The Wende’s curatorial team Joes Segal and Emma Diffley will lead the presentation, with cosmic music provided by jazz pianist Liz Kinnon.
