Culver CityBus Wins 2025 Agency of the Year

Diana Chang, Culver City’s Chief of Transportation, had an announcement to make at the November 10, 2025 City Council meeting. “Culver City Bus has been named the 2025 Transit Agency of the Year for small operators by the California Transit Association. This is a prestigious honor in our field recognizing an agency that demonstrates excellence in service delivery, and innovation in community impact.”

The Culver CityBus agency has a history with this honor, and this marks the fifth time that they have been given the award.

“This award belongs to our incredible transportation department team, our operators and maintenance crews, support staff, supervisors, planners, community engagement staff and managers. every single person who brings pride, creativity, and heart to keeping our community moving safely and sustainably.”

In recent comments, it has been noted that the Line 6/Rapid 6 Culver CityBus is one of the most popular ways for students and faculty to get to UCLA. Ridership on that route is almost 50% of the total ridership for the transportation department.

Chang concluded, “I want to thank the mayor and city council for your continued leadership and support. Your vision has helped make Culver City a recognized leader in public transportation across California.”
