Measure A Spending Plan Community Engagement Forums -Prioritizing Resources for Homeless Services and Housing

As the region’s homeless response and housing system collectively prepares for funding reductions, shifts, and deficit scenarios across local, state and federal levels, the County’s new Department of Homeless Services and Housing needs to make hard choices about how to invest its allocation Measure A resources.

This is the first in a year-round series of community engagement forums to ensure feedback and stakeholder input continuously guide the region’s overall approach to homelessness.

This series of meetings will focus on the FY 2026-27 Measure A Spending Plan to be administered by the LA County’s new Department of Homeless Services and Housing. The driving force behind this new department is increasing accountability and streamlining bureaucracy to stretch our dollars further. This an opportunity for us to work together to decide how to shape the future of our homeless response and housing system.

Your voice matters in guiding how we align resources to meet the unique needs of people experiencing homelessness in our region. Please join us for one of the upcoming forums.
